Rural Sales Professional
About the role:
* We have a unique opportunity for an experienced sales professional to service a diverse territory in rural Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop strong relationships with rural retailers to help them achieve better business outcomes.
2. Work closely with farmers, fencing contractors, government bodies, and industry groups to maximise sales revenue and margin.
3. Build on existing relationships and develop new ones to increase sales volume of Waratah's rural products.
4. Create and implement sales plans to achieve sales targets and monitor market trends.
5. Achieve set sales targets through effective communication and negotiation.
6. Provide product training and demonstrations to end users, distributor clients, and key influencers of buying decisions.
Requirements:
* In-depth knowledge of the Australian agricultural industry.
* Proven sales experience in a similar environment.
* An agricultural-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
* A passion for farming and rural communities is essential.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills are crucial for success.
* The ability to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups.
* A positive attitude and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
* A willingness to travel regularly and be away from home when necessary.
Training and Development:
* Ongoing training in the demonstration of a wide range of Waratah products will be provided.
