Key Responsibilities
* We are seeking an experienced individual to develop and support efficient workflows in our team, ensuring high-quality work is delivered efficiently.
* The successful candidate will help define and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity in our show teams.
* The role involves designing and setting standards for our pipeline to achieve optimal results.
* You will collaborate with department heads to communicate on behalf of our team and implement operational improvements.
* As a line manager, you will supervise team members, conduct performance reviews, and make hiring decisions when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in the VFX industry.
* Significant supervision and/or management experience in the VFX industry.
* Previous experience in line management.
* Extensive knowledge of tools and software such as Houdini, Nuke, Maya, Photoshop, Speedtree, Substance Suite, Mari, and other relevant software used in environment creation.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
* Advanced artistic eye for designing photorealistic environments.
* Understanding of 3D, 2.5D, and Matte Painting techniques for efficient workflows.
* Experience in project management, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and providing accurate time estimates.
* Ability to understand production-driven environments and influence others within an organization.
