The role of Assistant Parliamentary Advisor is a critical part of the Ministerial and Parliamentary Services (MPS) team. You will play a key role in supporting activities within the MPS function by participating in business planning, conducting evaluations, risk management analysis, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the MPS team in managing the exchange of information between Parliament and stakeholders.
* Contribute to team business planning, evaluating, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.
* Exercise strong initiative and foresight to plan and project operational tasks that meet organisational goals.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to lead and manage a small team, work independently, and meet key deliverables.
Requirements include Australian citizenship, an intention to carry on active political affairs, and consent to undergo character clearance and security clearance.
