About the Role
Emergency Communications Officers (Triple Zero Call-takers) receive and process all emergency and non-emergency triple zero calls from the public and other emergency service agencies. Every day is different and rewarding in equal amounts.
You could be helping someone in their worst moment, and they will rely on you for your composure and ability to guide them through the call. You will be well supported from your first day with us, with fully paid comprehensive training, before you then start talking real triple zero calls with your teammates, with team leaders on hand to support, guide and help whatever the circumstances.
* Fully paid training from day one, with a Certificate III in Public Safety (Emergency Communications Centre Operations) being awarded upon completion.

We have several roster options available depending upon your preferred location. These options allow employees flexibility and balance to meet their individual circumstances and work preferences, and include: full-time rotating roster, full-time set roster and part-time set roster.
