we provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community-based support services across Sydney.
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker with a strong background in mental health and NDIS practice, to lead frontline support and guide our team of dedicated staff.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver direct, person-centred mental health support in SIL homes and community settings
* Develop, monitor and review individual support and recovery plans
* Respond to complex behaviours and support escalation protocols
* Respond effectively to challenging behaviours and crisis situations
* Liaise with stakeholders including case managers, psychologists and allied health professionals
* Maintain documentation in line with NDIS Practice Standards and safeguarding requirements
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health and/or psychosocial disability support
* Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services or equivalent (Diploma preferred)
* Demonstrated experience with medication support and compliance
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
* Sound understanding of the NDIS and recovery-oriented practice
* Understanding of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid and CPR, NSW Driver’s Licence
