Clinical Nurse

We’re seeking a Clinical Nurse to join a supportive and values-driven team in Toowoomba. This is a full-time position, with a leading provider that genuinely values its staff and residents.
- Full-time role with AM shifts from Sunday-Thursday
- Competitive rates: $52-55 + Super (hourly rate based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, including managing complex needs, wound care, dementia, and palliative care
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring to nurses and care staff
- Conduct assessments, develop and review individualised care plans, and ensure accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and all regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic, person-centred care
- Champion continuous improvement, risk management, and a safe, respectful workplace culture
Key Requirements / Skills:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience, preferably in aged care
- Robust clinical judgment, assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a resident- and family-focused approach
- Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
