Profile:
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fun fast paced HR team with an established National Insurance Building company working closely with internal & external stakeholders, Project Management and Trade teams. With offices in each state and regional hubs our client has over 1800 staff members.
This industry leader is responsible for the rebuild and fixing of commercial and residential properties after damage from wind, rain, cyclones, floods and natural disasters. You will liaise with external project and trades teams and provide end to end premium HR people and culture information. Its fast paced and you work with Employment Hero systems.
About the role:
This is a pivotal role in the HR team. The HR Assistant will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of HR operations, providing vital support across recruitment, onboarding, and staff services. It is an amazing chance to be mentored whilst offering up your ideas and skillset in a career role. 
Key Responsibilities: 
- Support and maintain HR systems and ensure consistent implementation of HR procedures and practices utilising Employment Hero.
- Assist with the the onboarding and recruitment processes including organising recruitment, orientation, induction, uniforms equipment and training
- Manage compliance processes, including WWCC checks, staff clearances, and inductions for all employees, volunteers, and visitors.
- Asset Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records
Skill and Experience: 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident, professional approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities, both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in Employment Hero, MSOffice and online systems to manage human resource workflows
- A high level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
- 1 years of experience in HR and exceptional skills in Employment Hero is essential.
- Bachelor in Human Resources or related Degree essential.
