About the Role
Based in Albury-Wodonga, you'll join our fast paced and award-winning news room at The Border Mail, reporting on the stories that matter to North East Victoria and the southern Riverina.
You'll help drive digital engagement and audience growth through impactful journalism that sets the local agenda.
This is a hands-on role that blends breaking news with data-driven storytelling and feature writing
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience producing accurate, high-quality journalism under deadline
- Strong writing, research and analysis skills across digital and social platforms
- A creative, curious mindset with a drive to find and tell important local stories
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative editorial team
- Confidence presenting data and visualising it to strengthen your reporting
- Tertiary qualifications in journalism or a related field (preferred)
