About the Role
We're seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenters from apprentices to supervisors to join and build our construction team, working across New Residential Homes and Duplex/Townhouse estates with repetitive standard designs. From framing and fix-outs to structural installs and finishes, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality builds across varied sites.
Key Responsibilities – but not limited to;
* Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Work with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
* Maintain a clean and compliant worksite in line with WHS standards
* Assist with site setup, material handling, and general construction duties
Proficient in
* Wall and roof Framing with associated supporting beams, roof tie down, wall to roof connectors, cavity sliding door kits, furring for ceilings, noggings for all accessories, framing to bulkheads, baths and the like
* Undertaking installation of blockwork bond beam core fill with placement of all roof framing tie down brackets
* Be familiar with cyclonic tie-down and bracing requirements
* Lockup carpentry, including framing and completing soffits with framing, sheeting and beading, external cladding of varying FC and timber products, hanging of external doors and frames, windows and aluminium joinery into timber/steel frame
* Internal Fix out including installation of all internal doors, jambs to sliding robe/linen doors, skirting and architraves throughout, installation of all timber door hardware, sanitary accessories, internal robe and linen shelving
Not Essential but desirable
* Experience in installation of kitchen and bespoke joinery using pre-assembled joinery boxes plus gables, panels, joinery handles, benchtops and the like.
Skills & Qualifications
* Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent)
· Proven experience 2+ years' experience post apprenticeship
* Experience in residential builds (new builds preferred)
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans and follow specifications
* White Card – essential
* Own tools and reliable transport
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to work independently and within a team
