Job Summary
The role of a Teacher at our school is to deliver engaging learning programs for students. They are responsible for developing and maintaining responses that support student learning and inclusion.
* The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering learning programs for middle and secondary education, including project-based learning and engagement activities.
* They will implement class and individual learning programs that meet the legislative requirements for students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
* Collation of NCCD data and evidence will be necessary to improve student outcomes.
* The ideal candidate will develop learning programs that cater to classroom diversity and meet the needs of students with specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Effective implementation of teaching methods and techniques to engage students in learning.
* Development and maintenance of policies and procedures to support student learning and inclusion.
* Participation in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in teaching.
Selection Criteria
* A commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system and an understanding of its tradition.
* Appropriate teaching qualifications at tertiary level and a minimum of 3 years' professional experience.
* At least 3 years of experience working with students who have been disenfranchised from mainstream education.
