An established and highly regarded Canberra law firm is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join its Employment & Litigation practice.
This opportunity is suited to a lawyer who already demonstrates strong advocacy, advisory and client management capability and is looking to operate within a sophisticated, high-performing team. The practice is known for delivering strategic, commercially focused advice across a broad range of employment and dispute matters for both individuals and businesses.
Working closely with experienced senior practitioners, you will play a key role in managing matters end-to-end, appearing in tribunals and courts, and advising clients on complex and often sensitive workplace issues. The team operates across unfair dismissal, general protections, workplace investigations, discrimination, misconduct matters and broader commercial disputes.
The Role:
* Managing employment and litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
* Advising clients on complex workplace and dispute issues with a practical, outcome-focused approach
* Conducting advocacy in tribunals and supporting court proceedings
* Drafting high-quality legal documents, submissions and correspondence
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You
* 3+ years PAE in employment, workplace relations or litigation
