Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Electrical / ITS Inspectors interested in 1 to 2 year assignments (with potential extensions) based in Brisbane & greater QLD region.
Responsibilities
Use comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards and specifications and be able to read, understand and interpret technical documents & standards.
Prepare written documents including daily diary, submissions / reports & test results.
Communicate with the Contractor and / or Contract Administrators, Senior Engineers or Principals Representatives and keep them informed of progress and quality of works.
Provide effective administration, surveillance and recording of documentation generated during the construction including photos.
Mandatory Experience
The person applying for this role must have a minimum of 10 years' extensive practical experience in road construction projects and at least 5 as an Electrical / ITS Inspector.
Qualifications & Skills
Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management and email.
Must have a driver's licence and have access to own transport to / from home to site.
Preference for own laptop & mobile phone.
Preference for applicants already living in SEQLD & / or willing to relocate there, although we will consider alternatives.
Work Hours & Schedules
The proposed hours are nominally 40 per week & mainly day shift rosters (which may be cycled from time to time to provide relief).
Sites are mainly located in Brisbane & SE / QLD, but some opportunities may extend up the coast to FNQ.
Some Saturday and Sunday work may be required but expected to be minimal.
