About the Role
CareSouth is seeking Full time, Part time and Casual Residential Support Workers to provide individualised therapeutic support for young people in our Care
You will be a person who can uphold our values, exercises patience and resilience and exhibits a very nurturing demeanour. We are looking for individuals who place children first and are motivated to do what is best for them.
As a Support Worker, you will:
Support children/young people to achieve personal goals
Assist children/young people to build their personal resilience and navigate complex emotions and triggers
Support connection to family & culture
Encourage and aid participation in education & extracurricular activities to promote competence and stability in day-to-day life
Transport and daily care as required
Work alongside our clinical and casework team with children and young people at the forefront of all practice.
