The Opportunity The Construction Manager will be responsible for vessel build aspects, ensuring delivery to cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction, managing a multi-disciplinary team, and providing leadership and coaching to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
What's involved Enable and empower the construction team to meet project standards. Develop a culture of best practices in construction management and project delivery. Implement construction plans to ensure consistent outputs. Manage performance against schedules. Lead safety initiatives. You'll need 3+ years' experience in project/production leadership. 10+ years' experience in shipbuilding industry. Strong management and team-building skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Understanding of project management principles, including Earned Value Management.
