Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Manager at Cellabs, Diagnostics for Tropical & Infectious Diseases
Cellabs is a small, private laboratory specialising in the design, development and manufacturing of immunodiagnostic kits for tropical and neglected diseases. Located in Brookvale, Sydney, Cellabs is seeking a full-time scientific officer to join the Production Team.
Responsibilities:
1. General laboratory duties and documentation
2. Formulation of reagent for diagnostic kits
3. Management of IFA products
4. Equipment Maintenance
5. Quality control of diagnostic kit batches
The successful candidate must have the following:
1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences (Immunology, Biotechnology etc.)
2. Hands-on laboratory experience, working under GMP / ISO13485 QMS.
3. Hands-on experience with IFA, ELISA or other immunochemistry technologies.
4. Computer savvy, familiar with MS Office, strong communication skills.
5. A team player, highly motivated, adaptable to changing work methods, has organisation and time management skills and can work unsupervised.
6. Experience in tissue culture and an immunology background is an advantage.
Salary commensurate with years of professional experience, according to the Professional Employees Award. Full-time Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week).
