Description
* Develop, test, and implement high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative technology solutions.
* Ensure system reliability and performance by conducting regular evaluations and improvements.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
* Identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain smooth operations.
* Document development processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for new projects.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their application to enhance systems.
Profile
A Successful Senior Engineer Should Have
* Proven experience in software development within the technology sector.
* Strong knowledge of programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
* Experience working on projects within the retail industry is desirable.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
* A relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
