Job Description
This permanent, part‐time opportunity offers hands‐on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported by a Director of Service to thrive in your role.

You'll Work Across Split Shifts, Monday To Friday
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM + 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM + 7 hours admin
Wellbeing And Inclusion Officer Responsibilities
* Assist on the floor with inclusion and behaviour management practices, supporting educators with behaviour guidance strategies and supporting children with emotional regulation.
* Communicate with families about their children's behaviour and inclusion needs.
* Develop Individual Support Plans in collaboration with your Director of Service and Regional Manager and mentor the educator team.
* Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using TeamKids and schools' positive behaviour support framework, committed to eliminating restrictive practices.
* Develop funding through the ISP program, working with the Victorian Inclusion Agency and TeamKids Inclusion Team.
* Guide the educator team in inclusive practices to support children who are neurodivergent, display disruptive behaviours or have a trauma background.
* Work with families, school well‐being teams and therapists to implement consistent strategies for children with neurodivergence or trauma background.
* Attend professional development and training to develop knowledge and capacity of inclusive practices.
* Create resources to promote inclusion of all children.
* Assist in developing funding cases.
The Successful Candidate
* Experience working in Before and After School Care or education is a plus, but training is provided.
* Thrives in a fast‐paced environment and retains a child‐friendly mindset.
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
* Strong team player with excellent problem‐solving skills and a positive attitude.
* Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‐aged children.
* Energetic, enthusiastic and eager to have fun.
* Has or is working toward a relevant Diploma qualification as per ACECQA standards.
