As an A Current Affair producer, you'll be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality journalism which informs, educates and engages our viewers. You'll work closely with reporters, editors, graphic artists and other producers to craft compelling stories which resonate with our audience.
**Job Description** The day to day would include, but is not limited to**:
- Researching and investigating potential stories
- Initiating contact and reaching out to potential talent
- Crafting interview shot lists and conducting interviews
- Collaborating on production concepts and scriptwriting
- Demonstrating strong story judgement and creativity
- Exhibiting outstanding interpersonal skills and proactive qualities

- A deep understanding of the news and current affairs: You must have a strong comprehension of current events, politics and the news cycle in general. You must be able to identify critical stories and angles which will resonate with viewers.

- Attention to detail: You must have a keen eye for detail and spot errors or inconsistencies in content.
