In this role, you'll:
Lead the strategic management and performance oversight of regulatory partners, industry stakeholders and third-party service providers that support road safety regulatory outcomes. You will establish and strengthen governance frameworks for partnerships and agreements, ensuring arrangements are compliant, transparent and delivering value for money while supporting effective program delivery.
Oversee a complex portfolio of contracts and agreements, monitoring performance, risk, compliance and benefits realisation across multiple delivery partners. You will provide clear, evidence-based advice to senior stakeholders on partner performance, emerging issues and opportunities for improvement, ensuring decisions are informed by robust analysis and aligned with policy and operational priorities.
Drive assurance and probity across procurement, contract and financial management activities, embedding consistent standards and continuous improvement across the function. You will lead and develop a specialist team focused on relationship management, commercial oversight and performance monitoring, fostering strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to support reliable, high-quality service delivery.

About you
You are an experienced leader in partnerships, commercial management or regulatory program delivery within a complex government or infrastructure environment. You bring strong knowledge of procurement, contract management and governance frameworks, and you are confident managing complex agreements and stakeholder relationships that carry operational, financial and reputational risk.
You are highly analytical and commercially astute, with demonstrated capability in monitoring performance, identifying risks and driving improvements across partner-delivered services. You exercise sound judgement, provide clear and practical advice, and maintain strong focus on compliance, probity and value outcomes.
You bring credibility and sound judgement, developing team capability while maintaining strong, productive stakeholder relationships. Through confident communication and negotiation, you influence outcomes and ensure regulatory programs are delivered reliably and with accountability.
