About this role
This role is based full-time, Monday to Friday at SmartStream Technology (a division of the Wormall Group) in Cardup WA.
We have multiple business divisions, each with quite different needs, so you’ll need to shift between competing demands and be willing to learn new things.
Being able to see an issue and work with respective teams to resolve it is key to the success of this role. There will be setbacks and things not progressing as quick. Being capable of managing these challenges and rising above is what sets you apart from the rest.
What your day will look like
* Support in new product design and development (this could be in creation of drawing, technical/specification investigation)
* Write up and update of work instruction and procedures, and ITP for special projects
* Work with Production to assess day-to-day inspection for batch release for plastics and precast concrete
* Investigate internal and external non-conformances
* Internal process and system audits, as well as supporting external audits
* Equipment calibration management (registry, release and organising for calibration)
* Product approvals submission for different water bodies & councils
* Review specification and code changes by water body and agency relating to product approval
* Support in continuous improvement activities
Skillset needed
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering – or related field focusing on manufacturing
* Working knowledge of Solid Works
* AutoCAD experience is also very desirable
* Ambitious, self-motivated and resilient
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* WA Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
* Unrestricted Australian working rights
