people2people are currently recruiting an exciting full-time permanent position for a driven and professional Accounts Assistant to join an established finance team at a well-established wholesale supplier in Dandenong. This business is a leader in their field who have experienced continuous growth over the last decade. They foster a positive and supportive work environment and provide opportunities for growth.
About the role:
* Master data maintenance and setup
* Processing credit checks
* Accounts receivable including billing, collections and reconciliations
* Resolving discrepancies and processing credit notes
* Accounts payable including processing invoices, 3-way matching and reconciliations
* Assisting with daily bank reconciliations
* Maintain accurate inventory
About you:
* Experience working in a full-function accounts payable and accounts receivable environment
* Intermediate excel skills - confident using pivot tables and vlookups
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
* Available to work on-site 5 days per week. Flexible working hours are provided
