**A Day in the Life**
Based predominantly at our Springvale site (however travel between Monash Health sites may be required), we are seeking a talented Grade 2 Dietitian to join our Community Rehabilitation team on a part time ongoing basis (0.6 EFT). Days and hours are flexible for the successful applicant.
We promise you that no two days will be the same. This role will see you treat a wide range of patients with varying clinical presentations including malnutrition, oncology, cardiac, pulmonary, gastroenterology, and many more. This is a great opportunity to diversify your skillset with access to clinical support to develop and grow. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced setting, who enjoys diversity and variety and someone who loves seeing the direct positive impact community rehabilitation has on our patient's lives.
This role may even suit an aspiring Grade 1 with proven experience to take the next step in their career, where you will have the guidance and support of our experienced staff.
**In this position, you will**:
- Champion the Dietetic profile and importance of nutrition care across community rehab sites.
- Establish strong relationships within the multidisciplinary Nursing & Allied Health team to optimise nutrition care for our patients
- Empower the team to drive research and impactful quality improvement projects
- Collaborate with the leadership team to foster a positive team culture that thrives on growth, learning and accountability
**What you need**:
- Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or Masters of Nutrition & Dietetics (or recognised equivalent)
- Eligible for membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program.
- A team player, proactive attitude
- Experience working with complex clients in a clinical/community setting
