An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Open Mine Engineer to join a well-established hard-rock gold operation in Kalgoorlie. This permanent position offers strong exposure across drill & blast, scheduling, planning and production optimisation.
You'll work closely with technical teams and mining crews to support production delivery, short-term planning and operational improvements.
Description
* Develop weekly mine plans, drill and blast designs and production schedules
* Enter and validate operational data for accurate planning and reporting
* Reconcile production performance against plans and identify improvement actions
* Conduct stope performance reviews and optimisation work
* Collaborate with mining crews, geology, survey and contractors to support safe execution
* Assist with monthly and quarterly planning and reporting inputs
Profile
* Strong open pit mining experience (hard-rock gold desired)
* Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
* Experience in production engineering, drill & blast and scheduling
* Deswik experience highly desirable
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
