About this work area
As Accounting & Reporting Co-worker (Record to Report) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and optimise the end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, reconciliations, review of ledger details, and month-end close activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with INGKA Group Accounting Policies, IFRS and local accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data integrity across the omnichannel retail environment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues impacting financial data flow.
- Partner with commercial, supply chain, and store operations teams to understand business activities and their financial impact.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit standards.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Lead or participate in finance transformation projects aimed at improving R2R efficiency.
- Prepare and review financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management.
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from various departments.
As an A&R; Record to Report Co-worker you are:
- Holding tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or possess demonstrated equivalent experience. Holding, or actively working towards, a CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable.
- Experienced in managing financial processes and reporting in a complex retail or commercial environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- A natural collaborator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders through clear and effective communication.
- Motivated to drive continuous improvement and contribute to finance transformation initiatives.
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business setting.
