What's the role?
The Senior Communications Manager is accountable for driving and delivering engaging Group-wide employee campaigns and initiatives aligned to key business priorities. The role is also accountable for providing strategic communications advice and support on Group-wide initiatives and projects spanning across all Divisions. Working across the Group at a senior level, the role requires deep understanding of the business.
Development of content for and oversight of internal communication channels will be key, ensuring content quality and relevance. The role involves providing expert communication advice and reputational counsel to stakeholders, identifying and managing risks. Measuring communication effectiveness and recommending improvements is essential. You'll also contribute to strategies that address business challenges and enhance employee engagement. Collaboration with the Corporate Communications team is expected, along with producing internal materials such as speaking notes, leader emails, and event briefings to support leadership visibility.
What do I need?
* Internal communication experience in public relations consultancy or in-house positions. Worked successfully within large organisations with complex reputation issues.
* Extensive experience in all aspects of corporate communications - issues and crisis management, media, stakeholder engagement and reputation management within large organisations
* Strategic thinking, flexibility, ability to respond to short deadlines, operates independently and effectively in an unstructured work environment.
* Confidence to support, advise and work with senior leaders and stakeholders.
* Proactive team player with proven ability to collaborate with others to achieve goals.
* Strong creativity and ability to develop communications and events that engage employees.
* Proficient in corporate communication platforms/tools
