CMI Safe Co is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of safes, vaults, and high-security solutions, trusted by banks, government, defence, and commercial clients for nearly 80 years. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Safes and Vaults Locksmith Technician to join our skilled team.
What You'll Do:
* Install, open, and repair all types of safes, strong room doors, vault doors, and cash-handling equipment
* Service and maintain digital/electronic locks, mechanical locks, and access control systems
* Carry out safe and vault removals, relocations, refurbishments, and upgrades
* Provide on-site locksmithing including drilling, lockouts, and emergency repairs
* Work with cash-in-transit and vehicle-mounted safes, including drop-down units and hydraulic systems
* Conduct preventative maintenance and quality checks on safes, vaults, and door systems
What We're Looking For:
* Qualification and 5 years' experience as a locksmith, safe technician, or related trade background
* Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on technical skills
* Confidence in problem-solving complex safe/vault openings and repairs
* Familiarity with electronic/digital locking systems (advantageous)
* Willingness to work on-site at client locations (banks, commercial, and government facilities)
* Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
