Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will primarily be responsible for:sourcing workidentifying opportunitiespreparing quotes to deliver quality outcomes on behalf of the Companyworking closely with workshop staff to ensure tendered work is scheduled and resourced appropriatelyMore specifically, some of your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):building and maintaining strong business relationships with clients and suppliersidentifying opportunities to increase our client's market sharepreparing and documenting quotes or tenders that maximize profitable business outcomes and meet client specifications and expectationsdeveloping plans and work schedulesensuring tenders/quotes are completed within acceptable timeframes and to required standardscoordinating day-to-day scheduling and delivery of works supporting the workshop Team Leader and other staff as requiredcoordinating with the Store/Procurement Person by preparing work instructions and ensuring materials are sourced and availableworking with suppliers to build reliable supply chain relationshipsSkills And ExperienceTo be considered for the position, you will have:recognized trade qualifications, minimum Cert III in Engineeringa good knowledge of and commitment to safe work practicesability to read isometric drawings and a good knowledge of appropriate standards and proceduresexperience with MIG, TIG, and Flux Core weldingteamwork skills and the ability to work in a team-based environmentgood oral and written communication skillsgood interpersonal skills, with the ability to supervise and delegate responsibilities to staffability to read and interpret complex engineering drawingsAbout The BenefitsThis position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Leading Hands or Estimators to advance their careers and develop their skills within a trusted, multifaceted company.An attractive remuneration package, negotiable based on skills and experience, includes the use of a company UTE and mobile phone.
