We are looking for a reliable and highly organised Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations within our Heating & Cooling business. This role is responsible for ensuring all materials, equipment, and trailers are prepared for next‑day jobs, maintaining accurate stock levels, and upholding safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage inventory and workflow in a fast‑paced HVAC environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare trailers and materials for next‑day HVAC installations, service jobs, and projects.
* Manage and maintain inventory of HVAC parts, tools, equipment, and consumables.
* Order stock and replenish materials as needed to ensure technicians have everything required for scheduled jobs.
* Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (valid license required).
* Maintain a clean, well‑organised warehouse layout to optimise workflow and minimise downtime.
* Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed, including safe handling of materials and equipment.
* Coordinate with the operations and scheduling teams to ensure timely preparation of job materials.
* Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries; verify quantities and quality.
* Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, equipment, and job materials.
* Lead and support any warehouse staff or apprentices as needed.
Qualifications
* Experience in warehouse operations; HVAC or construction industry experience preferred.
* Valid forklift license and knowledge of safe forklift operation.
* Strong understanding of warehouse management, stock control, and material handling.
* Ability to read and interpret job schedules, material lists, and basic HVAC terminology.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to lift/move equipment and materials as required.
* Basic computer skills for stock ordering and inventory recording.
