Your new role
This role is pivotal in shaping the organisation's workforce strategy, fostering a culture of inclusion, and supporting the delivery of nationally significant programs in the arts, sciences, and heritage.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the execution of the organisation's People and Culture strategy, aligned with its strategic and operational goals.
* Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, and compliance.
* Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation, embedding inclusive practices and supporting reconciliation initiatives.
* Provide strategic HR advice to the executive team, contributing to organisational development and change management.
* Drive employee engagement and wellbeing through proactive initiatives and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in senior HR leadership, ideally within the public or not-for-profit sector.
* Strong understanding of contemporary HR practices, employment law, and organisational development.
* Demonstrated ability to lead strategic workforce initiatives and drive cultural change.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
