Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker at Eminence Care, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Providing one-on-one in-home support to clients with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and transport assistance
Supporting community participation, social activities, and outings
Assisting with domestic tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and shopping
Encouraging independence and self-confidence through tailored support programs
Reporting and recording client information in line with NDIS requirements
Supporting clients with hoist transfers and manual handling as required
About You
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge and awareness of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Experience with behaviour management, hygiene care, hoist/manual handling, and community engagement
A warm, caring nature and a genuine interest in helping others
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A client-focused, safety-first approach with attention to confidentiality and professionalism
Enjoyment in social activities and cooking.
Experience in assisting individuals with physical limitations.
Positive, proactive attitude and emotional resilience.
