THE ROLE 
As the Retail Store Manager at our Dandenong store, you will inspire, motivate and lead a productive, energetic and customer-centric team, focused on delivering a positive and satisfying experience with each customer and team member interaction. 
You will drive the success of the store through mentoring and developing your team to achieve great sales targets. 
This prospect is permanent, working full-time hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with no late nights or weekend work. 
The key accountabilities of the role include: 
People - recruiting, training, retaining and leading our 2IC and Sales Assistants 
Sales and success driven - has energy and patience to explore opportunities to the 'nth' degree 
Processes - ensuring adherence to company processes, yet suggesting better practices - challenge the status quo! 
Products - ensuring the store is fully stocked, all products are displayed aesthetically and priced in line with company guidelines 
Performance - optimise sales strategies to drive a top performing store 
Inspire, coach and lead a team of people to deliver excellence in customer sales and service 
Safety - ensuring the store is a safe place to work for our employees and for our customers to visit 
Connections - create positive and amicable relationships with internal teams for ongoing success with shared outcomes. 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED 
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience: 
Previous experience as a Store Manager with the store part of a chain, desirable 
Has a proven history, and enjoys leading teams and creating cultures of success 
Sound commercial and sales acumen to spot challenges and create opportunities to drive success 
Exceptional communication skills, ability to work closely with senior management 
Catering equipment/technical product knowledge an advantage 
Prior FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)/big-box retailer experience favourable
