As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by delivering personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs and goals. Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities.
* Assisting clients in their daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and skill development.
* Promoting community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities.
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
* Encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve their personal goals.
* Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Certificate III in Community Service or equivalent.
* At least 6 months' experience working with individuals with disabilities.
* High level of fitness for manual handling.
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* A current and valid CPR and First Aid certificate.
* A full driver's license.
* A willingness to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC).
