As part of its Queensland expansion, the company is currently delivering several high-profile residential towers across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, with additional projects expected to commence over the next 12–24 months.
The Role
Reporting into the Senior Design Manager and General Manager, the Design Manager will play a key role in leading the design process across major residential and mixed-use developments from early concept through to construction.
Key responsibilities
* Leading consultant teams through concept design, development approval and delivery phases
* Coordinating architects, engineers and specialist consultants to ensure design outcomes meet project brief, budget and programme requirements
* Managing the design programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved
* Overseeing consultant budgets and working closely with construction and cost planning teams to align design with project feasibility
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks including NCC, BCA and planning requirements
* Liaising with planning authorities and other approval bodies throughout the approvals process
* Reviewing design documentation to ensure quality, coordination and buildability
* Supporting project teams during construction to resolve design-related issues
About You
You will be an experienced Design Manager with strong experience delivering complex residential or mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate large consultant teams through multiple design phases.
Strong communication, programme management and commercial awareness are essential, along with the ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced project environment.
