Join our afternoon Operations Team at our Newcastle depot.
Hours: 4:00 am – 4:00 pm (1:00 pm finish on Fridays)
Shifts: 6–8 hours, 3–4 shifts per week, Monday–Friday
Hours per week: 18–32 hrs. Flexibility and reliability are big pluses!
Training: Fully provided.
You'll handle a range of food products (meat, dairy, gluten). Pay rate listed is for 21+, those under 21 will receive lower rates as per award.
What You'll Do
* Prepare, portion, label and pack food products
* Pick and dispatch orders accurately
* Receive and store stock where required
* Follow recipes, picking sheets and work instructions
* Maintain food safety, hygiene and quality standards
* Support workflow and productivity across the shift
About The Role
* Ongoing casual position
* Fast‐paced production environment
* Some work may occur in cold storage areas
About You
* Reliable with strong attention to detail
* Able to work both independently and in a team
* Good communication skills
* Physically capable of repetitive work including lifting (20 kg intermittently without assistance), standing, working on production lines and with machinery.
Experience in food production, bakery or warehouse environments is desirable but not essential. Food safety certification or forklift licence is advantageous.
