**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Haulage Manager to oversee the day-to-day heavy haulage operations and lead the division into its next phase of growth.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Oversee the operation of heavy haulage vehicles and project delivery
* Manage and maintain a fleet of prime movers with various combinations
* Ensure compliance with NHVR, fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility, and auditing requirements
* Lead and support a team of haulage operators and maintenance personnel
* Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), schedules, rosters, and budgets
* Build strong relationships with clients and ensure contract performance
* Drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
* Assist in business development opportunities
**Requirements**
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy haulage management
* Fleet control experience, including multi-trailer vehicles in regional/remote settings
* Proven leadership and people management skills
* Strong team collaboration mindset
* Business acumen for budget tracking and performance forecasting
* Knowledge of NHVR, fatigue laws, and haulage compliance
* Confidence with dispatch/fleet systems
* Certificate IV or higher in Transport & Logistics (desirable)
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
