About the role:
The successful applicant will bring a combination of clinical skills from many areas including demonstrated competency in providing personalised care delivery and management to elderly clients and people with a disability in a community setting. This is a Community Nurse position which entails visiting clients in their homes in Brisbane North, Brisbane South, Cabool and Logan regions.
Duties include:
* Providing clinical services to clients with their own home which includes but not limited to:
1. Medication administration
2. Wound management
3. Continence assessment/management
* Liaise with coordinators, clients and appropriate health care professionals as required
* Work in collaboration with other registered/enrolled nurses within the team
* Review and identify changes in client needs
* Supervised by Clinical Team Leader
What you'll need:
* Current Enrolled Nurse registration (AHPRA)
* NDIS Worker Screening & Blue Card
* Experience within the Aged Care & Disability industry
* Strong commitment to community care and experience in community nursing preferred
* Adherence to Best Practice Standards
* Driver's License
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work successfully as part of a team
* Ability to communicate in another language is an advantage but not essential
* Current National Police Certificate issued by the Australian Federal Police
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
* COVID-19 Vaccination recommended
