 
        
        W Sydney is now casting for a Assistant Beverage and Bars Manager to help lead the beverage operations of our B&F; outlets. Reporting to the Director of Beverage & Food, this is an integral role that presents an amazing opportunity to contribute to the efforts of the world’s largest W Hotel. 
JOB SUMMARY 
The Assistant Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive the vision by developing and implementing service strategies, team culture and operational excellence that reflect the bold spirit and luxury positioning of the venue. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a high-volume bar, delivering anticipatory service that reflects the luxury standards of our brand. 
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: 
- Work closely with the Beverage and Bars Manager and the B&F; leadership team to curate beverage program and the beverage lists for the different venues based on the concepts and keep up to date as per market trends 
- Understands beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns, food standards, and period end inventory 
- Manages in compliance with all local, state, and Federal beverage and liquor laws 
- Training and development of the B&F; talent throughout the hotel and oversee consistency and quality of beverage delivery. 
- Displays hands-on leadership in guest hospitality by exemplifying excellent customer service and creating a positive atmosphere for guest relations. 
- Manages service delivery in outlets to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure (e.g., greeting from hostess, speed of order taking and beverage and food delivery, fulfillment of special requests, collection of payment & invitation to return)
