Overview
Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a full-time Child and Family Centre Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality child and family services that support the wellbeing and development of the local community.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the daily operations of the child and family centre, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
* Implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs of children, young people and families
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, community organisations and local leaders
* Provide support, guidance and mentoring to centre staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of centre programs, using data and feedback to continuously improve service quality
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
* Contribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the child and family services offered by Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation
Qualifications
* Proven experience in coordinating and delivering child and family services within a community-based setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a demonstrated commitment to staff development and support
* Thorough understanding of child and family welfare issues, as well as relevant legislation and regulations
* Proficiency in using relevant software and digital tools to support service delivery and data management
