WHAT YOU WILL LEAD & GROW
- This Head of Human Resources, stand-alone role, with 1 direct report, is responsible for leading the HR function working closely with the ANZ leadership team. It proactively initiates talent and workforce strategies and practices that support to enable the business to achieve its objectives and position this organisation as an employer of choice. Balancing a strategic HR role with a hands-on approach, this position will deliver talent and workforce strategies and key projects for the business including organisational transformation.
- The role will partner with local and regional leadership teams in organisational transformation projects and work hand in hand with local commercial leaders to drive effective change. It will input, advise, design and implement organisational change/redesign and drive the effectiveness of the HR delivery model ensuring consistency and optimisation of HR processes and approach.
- This position has a big seat at the senior leadership table, working as the MD's right hand to enable and drive people, performance and culture and initiate change through challenging the status quo and partnering with ANZ leaders to strategise and execute business transformation and in return contribute to revenue growth.
- You will be responsible for organisational effectiveness, design, employee engagement, change management, culture development, talent acquisition, performance and team effectiveness to build a high-performance culture.
- You will develop actionable plans to bridge gaps between current and required workforce needs and develop staffing plans to meet the needs for the future growth of the business.
- You will establish leadership competencies to support and align with strategy, goals and key policies of the organisation.
- You will work with the APAC region to influence programs for local needs.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
- At least 10 years of HR experience, including a minimum of 5 years in an HR leadership role in a multinational company and/or matrix organisations.
- Strong tenure to demonstrate significant contribution and impact over time to business objectives and growth from a HR and people perspective.
- Demonstrated experience advising line managers on talent, workforce and organisation development initiatives.
- Experience leading employee relations.
- HR degree or equivalent; post-graduate qualifications desirable.
- Experience leading a people and culture function in a large company (70+ employees) considered to be a leading employer.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in employee relations and Australian employment legislation and relevant HR governance, managing risk and compliance from a HR perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and delivering on organisational transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience building a talent pipeline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and manage relationships with staff and the leadership team. Experience in closely partnering with senior leaders.
