Assistant in Nursing – Casual

About the role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Assistant in Nursing to provide high-quality, patient-centred care under the direction of our Registered Nurses. This is a casual position with flexibility across all shifts – day, evening, and night duty – giving you the chance to balance work with your lifestyle while gaining diverse clinical experience across departments.
Responsibilities
- Supporting patients with personal care, mobility, and communication needs
- Assisting with nursing care and technical support tasks
- Maintaining accurate documentation and safe care practices
- Working as a valued member of our multidisciplinary team
About you
You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced, caring environment and brings:
- A Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing or relevant enrolment in Nursing studies
- Professionalism, flexibility, and adaptability
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to act calmly in challenging situations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A genuine commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and culturally respectful care

- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current Recent Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
