TEN Recruitment is working with a respected WA-owned residential builder to source an experienced Scheduler for their Osborne Park office. Known for quality builds and long-term industry presence, this builder offers stability, career progression, and a supportive work environment.
As Scheduler, you will play a key role in coordinating material orders, managing timelines, and supporting construction teams to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving, and being at the heart of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) using the company price book
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Track departmental performance and provide scheduling support across multiple projects
- Monitor budgets and produce cost control reports for management
- Process and approve invoices, ensuring timely financial administration
- Identify and resolve scheduling or supply chain issues before they impact delivery
- Provide clear communication between estimating, site teams, and suppliers
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a scheduling, estimating, or procurement role within residential construction
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers and trades
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Databuild or similar construction software experience highly desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Full Australian working rights (sponsorship not available)
