About the Role
As our Service Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating workshop and onsite hydraulic maintenance and repairs, managing emergency jobs, and ensuring that client expectations are exceeded. You will supervise workshop staff, manage job scheduling, uphold safety standards, and maintain smooth workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain client satisfaction
* Coordinate hydraulic repairs across workshop and onsite environments
* A current driver's licence is essential for onsite work requirements
* Allocate and schedule jobs, delegate tasks, and manage employee workloads
* Oversee workshop staff, including mentoring apprentices
* Maintain exceptional safety and quality standards
* Order materials, tools, and consumables as required
* Liaise with clients throughout job progress and rescheduling
* Complete jobcards and ensure accurate and timely documentation
* Prepare toolbox meetings and support sales communication
* Approve leave requests and conduct staff reviews
* Actively pursue opportunities to maintain a steady workflow
* Assist with workshop labour as needed

About You
You will thrive in this role if you have:
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing staff
* A minimum of 3-5 years management or supervisory experience is required
* Proven success in a hydraulic workshop environment
* A minimum of 3-5 years hydraulic workshop experience is required
* Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills
* A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
* Knowledge of workshop processes and safety procedures
* Experience using Microsoft Office and related software
* Australian work rights are required for this position
