About The Role
Effective engagement is crucial for local government success, improving community connectedness, wellbeing, and project outcomes. As the Engagement Officer, you will contribute to and implement our Communication and Engagement Strategy, delivering engagement actions and designing implementation plans.
* You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting community engagement data to compile engagement outcome reports.
* You will conduct research, monitor, and review key trends in community engagement, participating and leading consultation activities underpinned by best practice.
To succeed in this role, you will possess tertiary qualifications in business, community engagement, social sciences or communications. You will have experience in statistical analysis and interpretation, presenting data coherently in strategy documents and engagement plans.
You will also be confident participating and leading community engagement activities on an ad-hoc basis, including face-to-face and online interactions.
