What you'll achieve
The Dedalus Solution Lead is a key technical leader responsible for coordinating solution design and delivery across both Managed Services and Project Delivery functions. Acting as the single point of contact, this role ensures seamless alignment of infrastructure, technical architecture, and non-functional requirements to deliver scalable, secure, and integrated solutions to our healthcare clients.
The role bridges functional and technical domains—working closely with internal teams and customer stakeholders—to map business requirements into robust technical solutions, with a strong focus on cloud-based platforms (Azure and AWS), infrastructure readiness, and integration services.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Ownership & Coordination
* Act as the central point of contact for all technical solution activities across the Managed Services and Project Delivery lifecycle.
* Coordinate with internal technical teams (cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, application delivery) to ensure the right capabilities are deployed on time.
* Lead cross-functional technical workstreams to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business and project requirements.
Cloud Platform & Infrastructure
* Provide leadership in designing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and cloud-native services.
* Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned to enterprise architecture and operational standards.
* Guide design decisions involving networking, security groups, load balancing, API gateways, and identity management (Azure AD, IAM).
Customer Engagement & Requirements Management
* Serve as the technical counterpart to the customer, leading discussions on infrastructure, integration, and non-functional design.
* Work closely with Functional Leads to ensure that business and clinical requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
* Oversee the documentation and validation of non-functional requirements, including availability, performance, maintainability, and DR.
Design & Integration
* Lead technical solutioning sessions, mapping functional requirements to architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and cloud services.
* Coordinate integration requirements across internal systems and external partners using standards such as HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, and flat file interfaces.
* Ensure system interoperability and data integrity across all connected environments.
Governance, Change & Reporting
* Participate in project and service governance forums to report on solution design, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
* Maintain and own solution documentation, ensuring technical artefacts and service models are kept up to date.
* Support technical assessments for change requests and oversee internal coordination for implementation.
