The Role:
Three Senior Program Managers required for:
* -Bundaberg
* -Rockhampton (with oversight of Gladstone and Emerald)
* Ipswich (with oversight of Toowoomba)
The Senior Program Manager will lead the development, delivery, and oversight of Non-Family Based Care programs and services. As a senior leader within the organisation, you will ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality of service delivery while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Reporting to the General Manager Youth & Communities, you will manage program operations, mentor a high-performing team, and align outcomes with organisational goals and community needs. In this role, you will develop and implement strategies that enhance service delivery and advocate for best practices in collaboration with key stakeholders, including government agencies and community organisations. As the Senior Program Manager, you will assess program performance and implement evidence-based interventions aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people. As a champion for cultural competence and inclusion, you will ensure services are delivered with respect for the diverse backgrounds of the youth and families we support.
Main Responsibilities will include:
* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Non-Family Based Care programs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, legislation, and quality standards.
* Oversee and continuously improve case management practices to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Develop and implement evaluation frameworks, using data and stakeholder feedback to enhance program effectiveness.
* Ensure children and young people's rights and needs are central to all activities, advocating for access to appropriate resources and supports.
* Support and guide case managers in addressing service delivery risks and resolving complex issues, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise case managers, fostering a culture of professional development, accountability, and shared purpose.
* Promote open communication, inclusivity, diversity, and staff wellbeing within the team, encouraging a healthy and supportive work environment.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government, community organisations, and families, to support effective care and advocacy.
* Represent the organisation in sector and community forums, communicating its mission and the needs of children and young people.
* Oversee program documentation, data management, and administrative processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and informed decision-making.

Qualifications
/
Requirements
:
* Bachelor's degree in Social Work or relevant field, or tertiary qualification with significant industry experience is required.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior management or leadership role within Child Protection and/or Disability sectors.
* Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, with excellent verbal and written communication
* Demonstrated support and direct staff to achieve desired outcomes for children and young people
* Developed time management and organisational skills.
* LCS check or able to obtain
* Working with Children Check (Blue card) or able to obtain
* National Police check or able to obtain
* Right to work in Australia on a permanent, full-time basis.
