About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Unit Manager to provide strong clinical leadership and operational management within our Hospital in the Home (HITH) Service for the Coffs Clinical Network. The MNCLHD HITH Service delivers safe, high‑quality hospital‑level care in a patient’s place of residence. This model enhances patient outcomes through multidisciplinary, integrated, and virtually enabled care, while supporting inpatient capacity and reducing unnecessary emergency department presentations and hospital admissions.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide effective clinical and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, well‑planned, and coordinated care.
* Lead the HITH team in accordance with current nursing standards, MNCLHD policies, and best‑practice guidelines.
* Oversee service delivery to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centred care across hybrid (virtual and face‑to‑face) models.
* Support integrated care pathways to enhance patient outcomes and promote service efficiency.
* Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives within the HITH service.
About You We are looking for a dynamic nursing leader who can inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high standards of clinical governance and patient care. You will have:
* Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated high‑level operational and clinical knowledge and skills.
* Proven ability to effectively manage hybrid models of care, including virtual and in‑home service delivery.
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
* Commitment to delivering safe, person‑centred, high‑quality care.
