Job Title: Human Resources Advisor
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and staff, driving positive people outcomes in a dynamic public sector environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a wide range of HR services and initiatives across the business. This will include advising on performance management and discipline matters, supporting and participating in recruitment and onboarding processes, conducting HR-related presentations and sessions for staff and leaders, providing solutions-focused advice on HR policies, directives, and legislation, assisting in workforce planning, organisational culture initiatives, and change management projects, and delivering accurate and timely support across HR operations including induction, exit processes, and payroll queries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice on performance management and discipline matters to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* Support and participate in recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure smooth transition of new employees into the organisation
* Conduct HR-related presentations and sessions for staff and leaders to promote understanding and awareness of HR policies and procedures
* Develop and implement effective HR strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address HR-related issues and concerns
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in human resources within a fast-paced environment
* Strong understanding of public sector HR frameworks is advantageous
* Ability to provide practical, business-focused advice
