About the Role:
As a Porter at Dorsett Gold Coast, you will be the face of the hotel, providing guests with personalised service to ensure they enjoy a seamless and unforgettable stay. You will be responsible for assisting with all guest enquiries promptly, ensuring that all interactions are warm, welcoming, and efficient. Your role is crucial in creating a positive impression and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist guests with requests in a courteous and friendly manger
* Assist guests in handling their baggage on arrival and on departure
* Provide information on hotel amenities, service, and local attractions
* Handle dining reservations, transportation bookings, and other special requests
* Anticipate guest needs and offer personalised recommendations to enhance their stay
* Collaborate with the Front Office team and other departments to meet guest expectations
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to offer tailored recommendations
What We Are Looking For:
* Previous experience in a concierge or a guest facing role is preferred
* Opera Cloud experience (preferred, not essential as training is provided)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for providing outstanding service and ensuring guest satisfaction
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
* A positive attitude with the ability to work well both independently and part of a team
* Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
