TESS Search Partners is proud to be partnering with IA Group (IA), a nationally respected design and advisory practice, to appoint a Senior Designer for their Adelaide studio. This is an opportunity to support IA's growing South Australian portfolio across commercial, defence, education and workplace projects. Reporting to senior leadership, this role sits at the intersection of design leadership, project delivery and client engagement.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of commercial interior projects across all stages
* Manage client relationships, briefing processes and presentation of design solutions
* Oversee project documentation, coordination and delivery standards
* Lead and mentor junior designers, contributing to team capability and growth
* Coordinate consultants and stakeholders to ensure integrated project outcomes
* Contribute to tender submissions, proposals and client presentations
* Monitor project progress, ensuring delivery aligns with programme, budget and quality expectations
Ideally, you will be someone who enjoys taking ownership of design outcomes while supporting and mentoring others. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy balancing creativity with technical delivery.
Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
* Solid understanding of NCC/BCA and Australian Standards
* Confidence engaging with clients and presenting design solutions
* Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
* Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
