We are seeking a solicitor to provide legal advice and representation to clients on a temporary basis. The role involves mentoring and leading a team of legal officers in delivering timely, high-quality legal advice and casework services.

Main Responsibilities:

* Mentor and lead a team of legal officers in delivering timely, high-quality legal advice and casework services.

* Monitor developments in law and legal processes to ensure advice and casework remain relevant and up to date.

* Support and guide staff in the provision of legal assistance to ensure clients receive consistent, high-quality legal services.

About You:
">
We are looking for a lawyer with experience in criminal law who thrives in a fast-paced team addressing criminal law issues. Ideally, you have experience with Early Appropriate Guilty Pleas (EAGP) matters, as well as Local and Children's Court District cases.

You Must:
">
">
* Be admitted or eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW.
">
* Hold a current NSW Practising Certificate (unrestricted).
">
* Be willing to do a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children's Check.
">
* Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency, or a valid visa to work in Australia.

About This Role:

This is a temporary full-time opportunity, with the possibility of ongoing employment. You will be required to attend our office in Albury on agreed office days, with the option to work remotely under flexible work arrangements.
